About Me

I was born in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. My father worked for the Department of Defense and my mother in healthcare. I had the tremendous experience of learning a bit about the world thanks to my parents. My father took us to Germany shortly after I was born as part of his career. I also got to see a fair bit of America before I was in high school. With a sense of adventure instilled in me from birth, I joined the Air Force after graduating high school. I had the incredible experience of being stationed in Washington, D.C. after training. After the Air Force, I went skiing for the winter, working as a ski instructor and obtaining my Level 2 certification from the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Once the season wrapped up, I set off on my journey to finish my undergraduate studies and go to law school. I had set my heart on my career in high school, and I intended to see it through.

I’ve had an amazing career. My experiences have been incredibly rewarding personally and professionally. I am committed to service and currently serve on the Board of Bar Governors for the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation, where I chair the grants committee, and CORE Treatment Services, where I chair the board.

I am passionate about people. I am enthusiastic about development, especially for those I lead. I seek first to honor the dignity of every human, to understand their motivators, and inspire them to greatness.
